Firstly, here is the teaser trailer created for 'SHAZAM!':
This teaser trailer fits with all of the teaser trailer conventions that I outlined in the previous post for 'Toy Story 4'.
The main character is introduced and whilst the audience does not really find out any information about what happens in the film, It is clearly a comedy whilst also being a superhero movie. However, this teaser trailer is slightly longer than a conventional teaser.
This trailer was the first to be released and was over eight months prior to the movie actually being released in cinemas.
Next, the theatrical trailer was released:
This was released only a month before the actual movie was released.
Again, this followed the generic conventions of a theatrical trailer that I outlined in the previous post for 'Toy Story 4'
Lastly, there were a number of shorter, TV spot trailers released:
As with the other two trailers, this closely follows the conventions of a TV spot apart from the fact that it is slightly longer than a traditional TV spot.
