Layout of movie websites
Although the layout of websites for movies does vary, there are a large number of generic conventions that remain the same throughout, no matter what type of movie.
interestingly, two of the movies that I picked are owned by the same production company (Universal) and the websites for each movie were almost identical in terms of format and the ways in which everything was positioned.
This is the same for any movie owned by a large production company as they will have one central office making all of the websites and online content and want their complete online pressence to be uniform with a consistant theme.
