Creation of our poster

The stages in which we made our poster

1. We first chose a photo that we going to be the image in our poster.

2. We then made this photo black and white to make it feel more like a thriller.

3. We then inverted the colour as we felt it gave it a much more ominous feel

4. After this, we cropped the photo so that it was a suitable size to form the image for our poster

5. Next we added the title as a layer on top of the photo using the font (Urban Defender) that we had chosen.

6. Next we added the billing onto the poster as another layer at the bottom of the page. This was easy to do as we had already created it.

7. The next step was to add the production company logos of Warner Bros., Legendary Entertainment and Syncopy.

8. The website URL and the hashtag for our movie were next to be added to the poster and are bellow the billing.

9. Another crucial feature that all trailers must have is the release date and our release date is Friday the 6th of September.

10. As we had already chosen a tagline for our poster we were able to just copy this and write it in the correct font.

11. The names of the three main cast members we next to be added to the poster. We played around with where we thought the names should go but ended up deciding that they looked best in this position.

12. The name of the producer is an important part of the poster as some people may associate a producer with making good movies so as soon as they see that name, they will want to go and see the movie.

13. Lastly, we added a line of text at the top of the poster giving information about other award winning movies that our director has directed in the past showing that the crew for this movie has the credentials to create a truly outstanding movie.
