- It is instantly apparent that this is not an ordinary movie when a deer jumps and hit the windscreen.
- The music then changes from the upbeat happy music to much more tense, dramatic music to build suspense.
- In the trailer the viewers are told that this movie is from the production company behind many other well received thriller movies.
- It also stated that it was written and directed by Jordan Peele who is a well known director who specialises in thrillers.
- After the movie takes a turn for the worst and the suspense starts building, there is the use of fades to black in-between scenes rather than straight cutting.
- The end of the trailer is climatic and when this climax is reaches, the editing becomes much faster emphasising the fact that this man is in a dangerous situation.
